definitions

point- specifies only location, has no length, width, depth or dimension.

plane- a flat, 2 dimensional object, continues infinitely in all directions and has no thickness, can be defined as 2 intersecting lines or 3 non-collinear points.

perpendicular- 2 lines intersecting at a right angle

line- a 2 dimensional object with no endpoints and extends on forever in a plane, formed of infinite points.

 line segment-
A line segment is the portion of a line lying strictly between two points. It has a finite length and no width.

ray- a one dimensional figure that consists of one endpoint A, and point B, with all point in a line of A and B

angle-  a measure of degrees

median- a segment connecting any vertex of a triangle to the midpoint of the opposite side

altitude- altitude of a triangle is a line segment connecting  vertex to the line containing the opposite side and the side perpendicular to that
